I left because I was looking for something slightly different than what I had been doing here. I ended up doing HR transformation using many of the same skills I was building here. Still, I found that I missed operations, which surprised me. And I missed all of the people at Capgemini. That\u2019s the main reason I came back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>What does your day-to-day look like?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I lead all the operations for recruiting, hiring, and separating. On any given day, I am managing projects, leading calls on transformation initiatives, and connecting with my team on issues they\u2019re facing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>What do you love most about working at Capgemini?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Definitely, the people. We have some of the smartest and most passionate people I\u2019ve ever worked with. And everybody is really focused on making things better. We\u2019ll put together events or webinars focused on helping people make the most of their journey here. I was looking for a way to get out of my day-to-day and have a chance to network with other people and see another side of the business that I don&#8217;t usually see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Why do you think it\u2019s important for organizations to have ERGs?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many benefits to having ERGs. First, they create a sense of community for people. We get a lot of individuals who are siloed in their day-to-day work or not interacting with a ton of different people. By having ERGs, you create a sense of community with people with similar interests or passions. I think it also allows employees an opportunity to develop the passions they may not get to do in their day-to-day roles. By being able to apply that in an ERG, it helps with retention, engagement, and a sense of belonging within the company. I also think it is a huge attractor for extraordinary talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How has Capgemini supported your career growth?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been very fortunate to have a fantastic leadership team that believes in me and puts me forward for a lot of training and development. I\u2019ve been part of the Women\u2019s Development Leadership program, I participated in Connect and Drive in 2021, and the first cohort of the CapW program this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How has Capgemini helped you get the future you want?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Capgemini has helped me get the future I want by showcasing that it is 100 percent up to me to drive my career here. And that if there are things I want to do, I need to speak up and talk to my leadership team. I need to be engaged in how my career is evolving at
