Capgemini Consulting Names Dee Burger CEO for North America

New York, N.Y., March 23, 2015 – Capgemini Consulting, the global strategy and transformation consulting arm of the Capgemini Group, today announced the appointment of Dee Burger, 45, as North America chief executive officer. Burger’s role will be to drive the digital transformation agenda in North America and strengthen the firm’s ability to seamlessly deliver digital transformation projects from strategy through execution.

Capgemini Consulting’s expertise in digital transformation is rooted in its extensive client work and research with the MIT Center for Digital Business, which culminated with the publication of the book “Leading Digital.” This research has informed Capgemini’s strategy and customer offerings, combining Capgemini’s consulting expertise with its proven track record in digital transformation engagements.

Burger has held a number of roles in his 22 years at Capgemini and Ernst & Young1. Most recently, he was global sector lead for the Telecom, Media and Entertainment practice from 2011 to 2013. He developed Capgemini’s Communication Transformation Platform offering, which has been the basis for the company’s leading position in the telecommunications transformation market.
 
Prior to 2002, Burger also held positions as a vice president in Ernst & Young’s Telecommunications practice, and led Gemini Consulting’s Telecommunications practice. He holds a masters of business administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.
