Job Description

 

Role: ABig Data Developer
Location: Tampa. FL
Position: Full time

 

  • Big Data experience with 5 to 10 years  
  • Understand the business requirement and do the fit gap analysis 
  • Analyze business requirements and define data requirements 
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications data models data mapping and transform rules 
  • Lead extensive QA UAT in partnership with the QA team 
  • Perform quantitative analysis on data from various sources 
  • Develop Business Rules Functional Specification Document Business Requirement Document Traceability metrics etc 
  • Analyze big data and generate useful conclusions and actionable recommendations 

 

Required Qualifications 

 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a data analyst role working with large data sets 
  • Experience working with BI tools QlikView Tableau etc 
  • Experience with Big Data and NoSQL databases Hadoop HBase Spark and Spark SQL is a bonus 
  • Expert knowledge of common big data tools such as SQL Hive Hadoop 
  • Expert level knowledge in at least one programming language such as python R Scala Java 
  • Experience in working with large datasets Terabytes or more 
  • Understanding of big data Data warehousing technologies 
  • Familiarity with Big Data components like PIG HIVE IMPALA SQOOP FLUME 
  • Ability to write and understand complex SQL querie
