Job Responsibilities

Role: SAS Developer (multiple positions)

Location: Chicago, IL
Position: Full time
Roles and responsibilities:
•    Understand the requirements & Use-cases provided
•    Refine and execute strategy as defined by the Business Analyst
•    Provide alternate efficient solutions, as applicable
•    Work closely with the BA to iteratively refine the data extraction & identification
•    Create re-usable automated processes for data-extraction
•    Quick turnaround is essential in a adaptive AGILE environment
•    Strong knowledge of SAS with previous programming experience
•     Experience with SAS/BASE (Data step programming) and SAS/SQL or other relational database software (e.g., Oracle)
•     Should have Basic knowledge of different SAS Merge technique.
•     Experience in using Set Statements, how to Format and informat data
•     Understanding and experience on optimization or performance tuning technique used  e.g. using different SAS option like Keep, Drop, Retain etc.
•    Ability to provide alternate efficient solutions as applicable
•    Work closely with the BA to iteratively refine the data extraction identification
•    Refine and execute strategy as defined by the Business Analyst
•    Able to understand the user requirements and Use cases provided.
•    Quick turnaround is essential in an adaptive AGILE environment

 Expected Skillset:
•    Experience of 8-10 years, with strong experience on SAS
•    Experience working in SAS- Unix, using SAS EG
•    Experience working in the Cards or Banking domain
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Experience working in an AGILE environment
•    Any AGILE certification will be an advantage
•    Experience working in Client environment
Good to have
•    Assessing controls and monitoring experience on data governance tools eg Collibra 
•    Good to have Java 
•    Finding key fields used in JAVA based code Job schedular
