Duties: Define the architecture, design solutions, & develop test & implementation of Business Intelligence & software applications; design and develop complex analytical data models to fulfill business requests; optimize, manage and automate reporting systems, dashboards and data flows using business intelligence tools; create a BI road map from design to delivery, act as an analytics translator by partnering with operations team and incorporating evolving business requirements; integrate and harmonize data between multiple data sources using computer programming and latest technologies to ease data accessibility for business users; engage with business stakeholders or clients to comprehend their data and business requirements to create tailored solutions and seek continuous feedback; and work with application support teams to build integrated solutions.
Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:
- experience reviewing/evaluating designs of off-shore and on-shore teams and coordinated with offshore/ onshore teams on a day-to-day basis;
- experience writing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in SQL Server, Oracle database environment;
- experience deriving meaningful data insights from large volumes of data (hundreds of millions of lines of data);
- experience automating the results of data driven analytics for business reporting;
- experience implementing data analytics and reporting solutions in BI technologies including: Splunk and Tableau;
- experience in a global delivery model using Agile frameworks including Scrum;
- experience in software testing methodologies including UI and system integration testing.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
