Duties:  Define the architecture, design solutions, & develop test & implementation of Business Intelligence & software applications; analyze data to identify data discrepancies, data anomalies and check for data integrity; create source to Target Mapping document (STM), Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Data Exploration document; develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality; develop SQL, perform SQL performance tuning, create ETL(Extract, Transform & Load) framework & process and create technical documents; accomplish root cause analysis (RCA) for the production incidents to fix and enhance the quality of the product; troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, perform quick data fixes by executing SQL queries, recommend and implement process improvement and provide ad-hoc reports; maintain and enhance existing data warehouse environment (integrating new systems as required); automate data correction process by creating database Procedures & PLSQL scripts; create automatic data validation script & schedule the Data fix job or script; facilitates business intelligence processes and procedures development and implementation; and identifies, researches and resolves complex technical problems.

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:

  1. Oracle SQL Developer;
  2. DBVisualizer;
  3. Microsoft Visio;
  4. SQL and PLSQL;
  5. Shell scripting;
  6. Oracle;
  7. DB2;
  8. Teradata; and
  9. SQL Server.

Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
