Job Description:

  • The Enterprise Architecture Leader is a L1 level leadership role directly reporting to the CIO 
  • This role is responsible for managing the overall Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy, supervising its implications in delivery & operations across all domains within Group IT.  Responsibilities also include defining Group IT architecture principles on applications, infrastructure, and security landscape in line with Group IT priorities, Corporate function goals and directives
  • Align with business focused delivery teams to jointly develop and creatively support new solutions to solve business challenges and problems
  • Will face off and work with Group and business stakeholders like DPO, Cybersecurity, Delivery, Finance, HR, Procurement, etc. within Capgemini and with Group IT domain teams
  • Align closely with Group IT leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure application delivery and infrastructure services deliver according to expectations
  • This role also provides leadership for the CDO and Enterprise Architecture teams (target is a ~20 max team members) within Group IT and community management of Solutions architects embedded across all domains within Group IT
  • The Enterprise Architect is skilled across the full lifecycle from solutions scoping and shaping through to delivery and running projects
  • Have strong connects in the industry and business to be able to drive and generate both internal and external stakeholder engagement and acceptance for application design, development, and rollouts
  • Should be able to bring past associations, experiences, and work to drive change and develop new solutions
  • Responsible for sustaining and driving customer satisfaction with business stakeholders
  • Work with internal product alliances groups and practices
  • Subject Matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: –
    • Global Applications and ERP
    • Infrastructure & Data Center transformation
    • Application Portfolio Mgmt.
    • Information Security Architecture
    • Data Privacy
  • Strong people leadership skills and operating as a leader for delivery training, development, reskilling, and certification initiatives within the practice
  • Drive Diversity Initiatives, Women in Leadership Development and other Mentoring and Training programs

 

Role Requirements:

 

  • An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT industry
  • It is preferred to have at least 10 years of relevant experience in applications and infrastructure topics
  • Business and/Technology Consulting skills with excellent architecting skills would be preferred
  • The candidate must be self-motivated, flexible, highly adaptable and an excellent leader as well as team player.
  • The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team spread across various countries including significant presence in India, Europe, and North America.
  • Must have experience working in global delivery model
  • Should have demonstrated experience of developing and selling into C-level contacts in the business
  • Must have prior experience in sourcing leads, selling technology services, developing new offerings and be a self-starter
  • Must have prior experience working in a delivery/revenue target driven role
  • Must have demonstrated experience of consultative selling
  • Ability to perform and conduct workshops and meetings to develop client solutions
  • Expertise in creating collaterals, presentations, PoVs for specific problem statements of customers and executing limited POCs, where necessary
  • Good working knowledge of processes and procedures (like ITIL)
  • Ready to travel if required
