Capgemini Digital Engineering
and Manufacturing Services is searching for a leader in Business Development
for our North America Business Unit. Our team delivers services which shaping
and deliver product development for engineering groups in Capgemini�s client
base.

 

This role will be to define and shape deals with our clients
by identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs in their product
portfolio by holistically sourcing development, maintenance, care and
validation of product(s) to Capgemini while maintaining product ownership,
sales, marketing, revenue assurance, and cost of goods intact with client.

 

Responsibilities will include:

Opportunity identification and demand generation

  • Working with account
    executives to identify opportunities and deal sizes and investments
    required for proactive pursuit
  • Planning outcomes for
    the pursuit

Deal and Proposal Creation

  • Engaging with clients
    actively in deal shaping
  • Identifying
    the appropriate portions of the product portfolio
  • Define
    people, process, platform requirements related to product for transition
  • Outlining
    a clear scope and perimeters of responsibilities for services delivered
  • Developing
    a financial model for development operations cost reduction for the client
  • Developing
    pricing models for services from Capgemini
  • Defining
    a transition services period and separation management office
  • Structuring transition
    plans

Deal Closure

  • Driving client
    follow-ups
  • Sheparding
    deal through Capgemini deal risk management process
  • Lead and Deliver client
    orals presentations of proposal

Delivery Assurance Planning and Oversight

  • Defining operational
    gaps to be filled and priced and managed in a long-term deal to improve
    deal value
  • Defining
    infrastructure required to support the transitioned operation (HR, people,
    space, process, platforms, labs, equipment, etc.)
  • Define
    capabilities that needed to successfully deliver the service functions
  • Defining success KPIs
    for each part of the deal for client and Capgemini
