As a
Solution Architect, the candidate will be responsible for designing
Salesforce implementations to best meet client goals.  To ensure that
all design follows Salesforce best practices and that it is the best possible
solution for the client�s budget. The candidate will be the Salesforce
subject matter expert on each engagement, and as such expected to represent
the best way of doing things when collaborating with the client.

The candidate needs to have excellent presentation skills, analytical and
problem-solving ability, and a deep knowledge of Salesforce technologies and
implementation approaches.  He/she will also be able to discuss
high-level concepts such as data governance, integration tools, design
patterns and best practices with enterprise architects and CTOs.

Responsibilities:

Determining the overall solution design,
including all Salesforce components, data and application integration, and
selection of third-party tools.

Leading clients through discovery
workshops to define and prioritize requirements.

Presenting architecture and design
options and recommendations.

Representing the client�s vision to the
project team, and ensuring that the end solution matches that vision.

Acting as the Salesforce subject matter
expert.

Ensuring that all Salesforce
configuration and development meets industry best practices.

Developing and presenting approaches and
solution overviews.

Helping scope and size engagements.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written
communication skills

Critical thinking skills

Experience in solution design,
particularly with Salesforce.

Significant experience (10+ years) with
full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.

Knowledge of Salesforce integration
technologies (e.g. ETL Tools) and experience of complex data migrations and
integrations.

An extensive understanding of the
Salesforce ecosystem.

Practical knowledge of other CRM software
(Oracle, SugarCRM, Rightnow, Dynamics, etc.).

Broad knowledge of enterprise
architecture design patterns and concepts (e.g. Data Warehouses, SOA, Data
Governance, MDM, etc.).

History at another consulting firm (i.e.
you know how to consult) and/or time spent within a large enterprise (so you
appreciate the complex challenges of our enterprise customers).

Certifications such as AppBuilder, Sales
Cloud, Service Cloud, etc
