Duties: Perform various functions related to testing & QA services for web & non web based environments; responsible for programming and software development using various programming Embedded C Language (RTS) and related tools and review code written by other programmers; perform requirements gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems; interpret architecture and design; perform code reviews; mentor, guide and monitor programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies; provide application software development services or technical support; code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain automotive embedded controller’s software applications; analyze requirements and maintain tests and integrate application components; ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented; complete task and update work tickets using IBM Rational Team Concert Tool; and develop Automotive embedded controller’s software applications using IBM Rational Synergy Tool.
Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: Analytical skills- experience analyzing software requirements, software design documents, and change requests; Defect management tools including HP ALM, TFS, and JIRA; Charles Proxy; API Testing; and experience with Automation of test cases using Gherkin and Design test case. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
