Already in a multi-year transformation journey, a leading propane retailer needed to update its financial and procurement systems. The original system was built on the PeopleSoft platform and the company still relied heavily on paper and reactive reporting.

With more than 700 locations, its network was struggling to keep up. Working with long-time partner Capgemini, the company chose SAP Ariba to achieve its transformational goals. It meant the company could focus on savings and efficiency gains as well as manage suppliers and document the changes.

The result is a touchless PO and streamlined invoicing process enabled by approvals at the requisition stage. Decisions can now be made in real-time while keeping the system user-friendly for its 3,000 users.
