ONE OF THE World’s Most Ethical Companies® – 12 years in a row

For the 12th year in a row, Capgemini has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere® Institute. This is an acknowledgement of our ethical culture that makes us an employer of choice and responsible player in the eyes of our clients, shareholders, and the wider community.

What is World’s Most Ethical Companies®?

This recognition was launched in 2007 by the Ethisphere Institute to publicly acknowledge and celebrate companies that demonstrate real ethical leadership within their industries. Ethisphere honors companies that excel in three areas – promoting ethical business standards and practices internally, enabling managers and employees to make good choices, and shaping future industry standards by introducing tomorrow’s best practices today.

Honorees have historically outperformed others financially, demonstrating the connection between good ethical practices and performance that’s valued in the marketplace.

Why is this recognition so important to us?

Capgemini is honored to be recognized once again for its high ethical practices. One of the World’s Most Ethical Companies recognition keeps us motivated to do better every year. Guided by our Values, the Group plans to continue to forge trusted, long-term business relationships and lead the way into an ethical future.

Each year, the process of nomination becomes tougher. We respond to a questionnaire of over 200 questions, requiring detailed inputs from various stakeholders in fields ranging from our ethical culture and program, corporate governance, third-party management, leadership, reputation, and corporate social responsibility.

About our ethical culture

In 2010, we set up a formal ethics program at Capgemini, with our Values at its core. This extensive program was crucial for the success of a diverse, decentralized Group like ours, with multi-cultural teams operating in more than 50 countries.

Sustaining our ethical culture needs constant innovation – in 2021, we published a brand-new Human Rights Policy and Code of Ethics for AI, we listened to our employees through surveys and we strengthened our speaking up culture, among other things.
