Communications and Engagement Lead, Capgemini India

I love working in a multicultural environment, that’s what I do here all the time.

  • How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Capgemini?
I feel energetic and inspired to tackle my inbox every morning. I am new to this role and I’ve always looked forward to the new things I get to learn and the new approaches I can take to complete my tasks.
  • What do you love about your job?
This is the first time I’ve worked for such a large corporation and I really love learning about all other cultures represented here. I’m convinced that multiculturalism leads to harmony at work!
  • How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills?
I’m very passionate about teaching, both technical and soft skills.  I previously worked as a face-to-face trainer for technical trainings and found that I missed it.  At Capgemini, I’ve had the opportunity to do this part-time, along with my other tasks. This gives me satisfaction and I’m proud of myself for doing these sessions.
  • How does Capgemini help support your sense of purpose in your career?
I love working in a multicultural environment, that’s what I do here all the time. I appreciate the rich variety of experiences.
  • How does Capgemini give you the autonomy to make decisions?
We have the freedom to perform our tasks with boldness, a secure environment to work in with modest teams, and bold approaches to solutions. We’re bound together by trust, honesty and team spirit.
  • What do you love about the way of working at Capgemini?
I feel lucky to work at Capgemini and truly enjoy the diversified work environment. Each day is a new challenge that leads to new learnings. This keeps me going, and saves me from monotony.
  • How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?
Good exposure with cross-functional stakeholders, learning new technologies, and travelling worldwide are my passions. My role at Capgemini provides me with  opportunities to engage in all my passions.
  • What was your most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?
One of my most memorable moments at Capgemini was when I managed an event for an objective-setting kick-off session. Since I’d joined the company less than six months earlier, it was really hard work. I single-handedly organized a two-and-a-half day event for around 80 attendees. By the end, I was utterly satisfied that I could handle event management in the future! It was a powerful and empowering discovery!
  • What are you an Ace at?
This could relate to what you studied if you are a recent joiner, what area of the business you currently engage with, or what skills you are looking to develop to become an ace. What unique experience do you bring to your role that you have developed over the course of your career?

I’m an ACE at setting up L&D for an organization!
