The ethics and the values that flow through every vein of this organization is something that I am extremely proud of.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

In my role as an architect in the Group Portfolio team, I am responsible for engaging with some of our strategic clients to help them plan their transformation journey. I assess their as-is landscape, not only suggesting opportunities to modernize, reduce costs, and enable process efficiencies, but also help realize those opportunities through a holistic solution that is business-focused. An average day for me typically involves working with account teams to understand the current landscape or working with the client stakeholders to create a solution that addresses their pain points. Sometimes the day is filled with client presentations and internal meetings while some are spent working with partners to design our joint GTM strategies.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

It’s always the people! I think in many organizations, if you take all the people out and replace them with an entirely different set of individuals, that organization would still retain its essence. But I can’t say that about Capgemini. I believe the true spirit of Capgemini comes through its people!

There’s just so much positivity that comes with working with people who truly care about you and your growth, as part of an organization that values ethics so highly.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

The ethics and the values that flow through every vein of this organization is something that I am extremely proud of.

Many companies talk about their values and commitment to society, but I admire extent to which Capgemini engages in CSR activities — whether it is planting one million trees, building an entire campus that runs on green energy, educating the under-privileged, or connecting lost children with their parents. These initiatives are all driven with the same zest, passion, and humility that we bring to multi-billion-dollar client projects.  This is something that is unique about Capgemini, and it makes me very proud to be working for an organization that cares.

How are you working towards the future you want?

Capgemini truly lives the “Get The Future You Want” promise. Every individual at Capgemini is empowered to decide what projects they want to work on.

To make that happen, Capgemini launched a crowdsourcing platform that enables anyone to voluntarily opt into projects and tasks based on their interests, passions, and the pace at which they want to work.

Not just that, Capgemini also launched the a learning platform that provides the entire workforce access to a multitude of training courses offered by the topmost universities and institutes to ensure we can upskill and prepare ourselves for the future.

I can’t think of better examples of how Capgemini enables us to work towards the future we want.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Capgemini is a very people-centric organization. Because of that, my foremost advice for anyone joining Capgemini is to not hesitate to reach out to people for anything. People here are always very supportive and friendly. The more people you connect with, the stronger you will become. It’s a “power of one” mentality that we take to our clients as well.
