No matter what- take the challenge and then grow!

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

 My role is to develop offering, solutions and bid management capabilities on my FS France AMS practice. In my day to day, I could have a client meeting to shape a future opportunity, move to solutioning to respond to an IT massification deal and design IT transformation, share about assets or references with the bid managers team, prepare a client’s journey in one of our daily location or work on an offer. I also try to dedicate some time to nurture my creativity and understanding of our client’s market and future challenges by reading press articles of the IT sector or listening to our client’s interviews. There’s also a lot to learn on our Talent pages and by sharing with other entities.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

I like the entrepreneurship mindset that Serge Kampf gave to the company and the opportunities we have to bring new ideas to the table to change the game.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

Our values and our social engagements across the globe. For instance, during the COVID period, the Campus for Courage initiative had no posts on LinkedIn at first, it happened when we, the employees of Capgemini discovered it, because the Group did not want to use it for advertising the campaign. Another strong example is the Impact Together Week, which was first an FS France initiative and is now spreading its wings across the globe – thanks to our entrepreneurship mindset, once again. 

How are you working towards the future you want?

The future I want is to leverage the competency and the strength of everyone, to bring their own value by using assets and capitalization to onboard easily people from everywhere (country or entity).

For instance, in my presales stream, I am working on guidelines, templates and kit to ease the bid management process, and help the team concentrate on ideation, differentiators and work on “why” rather than on “what” or “how”.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

 If you like transformation, work on constant learning, work with peers − if you like challenges, Capgemini has the best environment to grow and boost your career!
