These are a few key ethoses Capgemini Singapore adhere to as we continuously move towards improving our consulting, technology, outsourcing services and local professional services. Singapore is where Capgemini’s Southeast Asia business is headquartered in. Our offices in Southeast Asia are based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines. We have been serving our clients and stakeholders in the region since 1991.
Over the last two years, Capgemini has tripled its size, setting the trajectory for ambitious expansion. At the heart of our growth is our ability and expertise to understand our clients’ needs and requirements ahead of time. We work with leading industry players, partners and analysts to deliver business and IT solutions and thought leadership which create tangible value. To better serve our clients, we partner with cross-sector industry players and leading start-ups to conceptualize, create and customize cutting-edge technology platforms to give them with an edge in the market.
Our ethos of innovation and experimentation can be exemplified by the opening of our Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) Singapore in February 2017. The AIE Singapore is the 10th Exchange launched globally, and the first one in the Southeast Asia region.
With the fast pace of emerging technology introductions and compressed innovation cycle times, Capgemini’s introduction of Applied Innovation and its AIE operating model have been built on the premise that innovation without ironclad application specific to the enterprise is a futile proposition.
One of the core components of the AIE is the cohesive network of global Exchanges designed to provide organizations an environment for the exploration, discovery, testing and application of innovation. It supports a broad range of customer interaction scenarios and services that enable companies to experiment with technologies and provides an opportunity to co-locate at the Exchanges. All Exchanges have a structured AIE framework to ensure a consistent client experience and access to an extensive global ecosystem of leading businesses, technology partners, startups, academia, venture capitalists and much more.
The AIE aligns over 30 global innovation environments providing new engagement and delivery models for clients, partners and people. This includes 12 full-service Exchanges around the world which helps companies through the end-to-end applied innovation process. The Exchanges located in our flagship cites are San Francisco, Mumbai and Paris, and the other Exchanges are found in New York, Toulouse, Lille, London, Munich, Utrecht, Melbourne and Toronto.
With support from the Singapore Economic Development Board, AIE Singapore will focus on technologies in the field of Data & Insights, Customer Experience, FinTech, AR / VR, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Cybersecurity.
Together with start-ups, partners and local expertise we will have onboard, the goal is to discover new inventions, devise them, deploy Proof-of-Concepts and sustain them. In the process, we seek to grow local expertise and capabilities that we partner with. Enhancing capabilities is important to us as we groom and grow relationships with people.
As our motto communicates, ‘People Matter, Results Count’, people are at the forefront and priority in our business. We view diversity as a strategy in our success. Our ability to pool resources worldwide and locally to invest and train our people is a top priority for us. This is demonstrated in the mentorship and training programs we have in place such as the Capgemini’s Graduate Program and Women@Capgemini program.
As part of our Graduate Program, we work together with graduate talents to help them grow into Capgemini’s next generation of leaders. The program runs for over twelve months, where graduates will have the opportunity to work internally within Capgemini or externally at our clients’ offices to participate in business and technology enabled transformation programs to develop their skills and knowledge.
Our graduates live our seven core values which have been at the heart of Capgemini since our formation – honesty, boldness, trust, freedom, team spirit, modesty and fun. These values influence the way we work and promote ethically sound practices within Capgemini. For more information on our Graduate Program, click here.
Diversity is important to us at Capgemini. We believe in leveraging all of our people’s talent through initiatives based on the “equal opportunities, equal chances” principle. Hence, we adopted the Women@Capgemini Program that seeks to:
- Connect. Provide opportunities for women to connect and be inspired by mentors, role models and one another, building a sense of community they can rely on.
- Improve. Provide business and education and resources such as trainings, to enhance current skill sets and build new ones. This provides equitable opportunities for advancement to grow both professionally and personally.
- Inspire. Promote helping the community and inspiring others to take action towards equitable opportunities.
