Our ethos of innovation and experimentation can be exemplified by the opening of our Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) Singapore in February 2017. The AIE Singapore is the 10th Exchange launched globally, and the first one in the Southeast Asia region.
With the fast pace of emerging technology introductions and compressed innovation cycle times, Capgemini’s introduction of Applied Innovation and its AIE operating model have been built on the premise that innovation without ironclad application specific to the enterprise is a futile proposition.
One of the core components of the AIE is the cohesive network of global Exchanges designed to provide organizations an environment for the exploration, discovery, testing and application of innovation. It supports a broad range of customer interaction scenarios and services that enable companies to experiment with technologies and provides an opportunity to co-locate at the Exchanges. All Exchanges have a structured AIE framework to ensure a consistent client experience and access to an extensive global ecosystem of leading businesses, technology partners, startups, academia, venture capitalists and much more.
The AIE aligns over 30 global innovation environments providing new engagement and delivery models for clients, partners and people. This includes 12 full-service Exchanges around the world which helps companies through the end-to-end applied innovation process. The Exchanges located in our flagship cites are San Francisco, Mumbai and Paris, and the other Exchanges are found in New York, Toulouse, Lille, London, Munich, Utrecht, Melbourne and Toronto.
With support from the Singapore Economic Development Board, AIE Singapore will focus on technologies in the field of Data & Insights, Customer Experience, FinTech, AR / VR, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Cybersecurity.
