The freedom and trust within the company make that possible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I have had some consulting experience earlier in my career, and most recently, I worked as a project manager. I was approached by Capgemini for a specific role aimed at developing and contributing to clients within the food industry, in which I have significant experience. It felt exciting because it&#8217;s the specific industry I&#8217;m interested in, and at Capgemini, I get to take on various roles within it and be involved in both the business and IT aspects. That&#8217;s part of what makes Capgemini so interesting to work for, in my opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tell-us-about-your-role-what-does-a-day-in-your-life-at-capgemini-look-like\"><strong>Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I am an Enterprise Architect and right now I am out on an assignment for a big, global retailer. There are high ambitions for this project which means we get to work with cutting edge questions. It leads to a lot of interesting perspectives and technical development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My work primarily consists of guiding and leading capability development for clients as I help them realize their business goals and roadmaps. This means we take perspectives such as process, data, organization, and tools into account, so there are a lot of different things to consider and work with, which makes it very interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-capgemini-support-your-development\"><strong>How does Capgemini support your development?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I feel like I have a great opportunity to develop at Capgemini. We have free access to learning portals and internal courses held, which gives you the opportunity to develop the skills you are interested in or that are crucial for the next step in your career or new role you want to be able to take on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also different Guilds within different areas of interest, one of them being the Architecture and Business Analysis Guild, which I am leading outside of my daily work. The Guilds can be described as networks for knowledge transfer and mutual competence development in the form of discussion forums and workshops. In the Architecture and Business Analysis Guild, there are over 150 members who both listen in and contribute themselves, so there is a lot of competence to be found and shared there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-characterizes-the-people-and-culture-at-capgemini\"><strong>What characterizes the people and culture at Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Above all, there is the business acumen and the consulting spirit. There is a big passion for making progress through technology, but you can tell that people here also have a passion for business challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another thing that characterizes the culture here is the size of the organization and the depth of knowledge available, which makes it possible to always find an expert in a certain area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-should-you-join-capgemini\"><strong>Why should you join Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s hard to answer this without sounding clich\u00e9, but Capgemini\u2019s motto is \u2018Get The Future You Want\u2019, and I think you have great opportunities to do just that.
