I have worked at Capgemini Invent for almost 2 years. I joined Capgemini Invent after finishing my Master studies in Entrepreneurship at Hanken. During my studies I worked for a start-up company in the logistics sector and within the financial sector.

I am part of the frog Customer First capability unit at Capgemini Invent. I have worked on various projects in various industries such as, financial and high-tech. Moreover, I have gained experience from post-merger operations and integrations, business and IT-transformation, change management, and PMO projects.

Tell us about your role at Capgemini Invent?

I am a Consultant at Capgemini Invent. My role varies a lot, depending on the project, team, and scope. Currently, I am staffed on a project in Stockholm, meaning that I usually spend Monday-Thursday in Stockholm and Fridays in Finland.

What makes Capgemini Invent stand out?

What I really appreciate about Capgemini Invent is that it feels like you work for a small company. You have all the benefits of a large company; trainings, competencies and global connections, but the corporate culture is very start-up like. Also, I feel that Capgemini Invent is a company with low hierarchy and everyone is working towards a common goal.

Tell us about something exciting and educative from your career at Invent so far?

During my career at Capgemini Invent, I have learned a lot. I have experienced different industries, different companies, and many inspiring people. I would say that the most exciting thing so far is seeing ideas turn into results very quickly and being able to see the impact it has for our clients.

Tell us about Business & Analysis Group (BAG) and your role?

The Business & Analysis Group (BAG) community is made up of all Consultants and Senior Consultants. The purpose of the community is to support the Capgemini Invent business through various activities. The community is divided into smaller teams with different focus areas, e.g. Impact/Pro bono, Events, Marketing, Employer branding, etc. There are many different teams that new consultants can join depending on their own interests.

During my first year at Capgemini Invent, I was part of the Marketing team. Currently, I lead our Finnish Invent Impact team. The Impact team is focusing on different initiatives such as pro-bono work and internal initiatives to minimize our carbon footprint.

What characterizes the people and culture at Capgemini Invent?

The people and culture at Capgemini Invent could be summed up as: inclusive, ambitious and supportive.

How does Capgemini Invent support your development?

There are two main ways Capgemini Invent supports my development. First, there are several trainings organized throughout the year, both local and regional classroom trainings, but also many online trainings. Secondly, each consultant has a counselor, who is generally 1-2 career grades above, and who support with goals and development.

What is your best advice for a student who dream to start a career in management consulting and at Invent?

Apply! It will be a great learning experience and you will get insight into different sectors and industries. Most importantly, you will have inspiring and ambitious colleagues
