The 2012 eGovernment benchmark provide insight in three broad areas:
- A demand-side citizen view of public services – based on a representative sample, of 28,000 European internet-using citizens.
- Three life-events are assessed: starting a business, losing and finding a job, and studying.
- Key technology enablers are assessed for government to move towards a new generation of eServices.
This measurement has been delivered in collaboration with EU country representatives, who played a vital role in the design and validation of this survey.
