Innovation through IT for business results

Between August and November 2008, the Business and Information Strategy practice in the UK worked closely with Samsung SDS in Korea to co-produce the Korean CIO Survey report, entitled: “Innovation through IT for Business Results – A comparison of Korean and global views on the role of the IT function in business innovation”.

The survey canvassed the views of Korean CIOs about the actual and potential role of the IT function in Korea with respect to business innovation.

The joint team then compared the responses of 100 Korean CIOs with Capgemini’s survey of 400 CIOs worldwide. The resulting report highlights some fascinating comparisons between Korean and global IT organisations with regard to their strategic priorities and relationships with the business.
