Cyril Garcia, CEO of Capgemini Invent, Member for the Capgemini Group Executive Board

Cyril has been at the forefront of the construction of the digital strategy and services for the Capgemini Group and its clients with roles ranging from Group Strategy Director, Head of Capgemini Consulting France and Spain, to Global CEO. In 2018 he launched the new Invent brand whose mission is to accompany CXO’s to envision and build what’s next for their organizations. In 2019 he was appointed to the Capgemini Group Executive Board, he is in particular responsible for both the Group’s Sector and Corporate and Social Responsibility strategies. Cyril has 25+ years of experience in the consulting industry with a strong background in services, utilities, public sector, and public policy.

On this panel discussion Cyril brings the Capgemini executive point of view and our Group’s vision on sustainability and Invent for Society.

David Rolnick, Chair, Climate Change AI and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at McGill University

David Rolnick is assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at McGill University and at the Mila Quebec AI Institute. He is co-founder and chair of Climate Change AI and serves as scientific co-director of Sustainability in the Digital Age. Dr. Rolnick has also worked at Google and DeepMind, and is a former NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow, NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and Fulbright Scholar. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from MIT.

Hannah Helmke, Co-Founder & CEO, right. based on science GmbH

Hannah is the co-founder and CEO of right. based on science, a provider of climate metrics and software. After completing her studies of Psychology and International Business, she worked for the IT service provider BridgingIT and Deutsche Post DHL Group. There, she explored the potentials of digitization for reaching sustainability targets and worked on introducing science-based targets as reporting instruments. Together with Dr. Sebastian Müller, she founded right. in 2016. In 2020, the company was awarded the prestigious Next Economy Award.

Dr James Robey, Global Head of Environmental Sustainability, Capgemini

James has led the Capgemini Group sustainability agenda since setting first carbon reduction targets in 2008.  He is a long-term advocate of ambitious targets as a mechanism to drive innovation to ensure continual improvements.
