Project Manager- Infrastructure (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, document and effective and efficient execution of multiple small, medium and large-scale projects across the Asia Pacific region.  

  • Develop, implement and communicate the project milestones and establish quality measurements on which the project can be managed against.

  • Identify, pre-empt, assess and manage risks that will impact the success of the projects.  

  • Actively participate in all delivery phases, driving towards excellence and timely delivery.

  • Effective management of the financials of the project including estimation of costs, timescales and resource requirements.

  • Provide regular and accurate report within IT and with stakeholders.   Formalise the acceptance of the project or phase and bring it to an orderly completion.

  • Liaise with different stakeholders and project teams to drive delivery of value through deployment of IT projects into the business, usually based on configured, off-the-shelf, packaged solutions.

  • Responsible for managing the change control procedure, ensure that agreement for revisions to the relevant projects is gained. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and be able to report to all levels up to and including Director.

     

    Requirements:

  • Possess degree qualified or equivalent and have a formal certification in project management.

  • Extensive experience managing development/configuration, test and deployment of IT Solutions through 3rd Party suppliers

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering IT projects coupled with sound experience of information technology is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.

  • Experience of working with third party outsourced suppliers is advantageous.

  • Have experience of Structured Project Delivery Methods and a membership of PMI or APM.

  • Possess drive and passion in driving issues to closure.

  • Able to work effectively with ambiguity and changes.

  • Assertive in establishing one’s view points yet open to accept other more appropriate solutions.

  • Able to effectively manage and influence various stakeholders with differing views driving towards decision.
