In 1998, he became Head of Global Supervision and Development of the Equities division. In May 2002, he was named Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Group, followed by Chief Financial Officer in January 2003. In 2008 he was appointed CEO of the Group, before becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2009. Following the regulatory split between the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in May 2015. Mr. Oud\u00e9a is a director of the listed company ALD, a subsidiary of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale group, since February 7, 2023. In 2010, he was named Chairman of the Steering Committee on Regulatory Capital (\u201cSCRC\u201d) at the Institute of International Finance (\u201cIIF\u201d).<br><br>Mr. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Oud\u00e9a has been a non\u2011voting member on the Board of Directors of Sanofi since September 2, 2022. He has been Chairman of the \u00c9cole Polytechnique Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of \u00c9cole Polytechnique since February 15, 2022.<br><br>Mr. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Oud\u00e9a is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit.<br><br>Mr. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Oud\u00e9a joined the Board of Directors of Capgemini SE on May 23, 2018 and was appointed a member of the Ethics &amp; Governance Committee on the same date. He is Lead Independent Director, Vice-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Ethics &amp; Governance Committee since May 20, 2021.<br><br>Mr. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Oud\u00e9a brings to the Board his experience in managing a leading banking group with an ambitious international development plan, which is highly innovative in digital and committed to energy transition as part of a sustainable
