DevOps Cloud Engineer

What do you need to start?

  • Expert knowledge of monitoring and logging of Kubernetes clusters (on-premise and/or in public clouds) and required metrics and logs
  • Experiences with monitoring and logging systems, particularly Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and Sentry
  • Experience in integrating monitoring and logging systems
  • Knowledge of cloud-native security aspects or having a public cloud certificates 
  • Experience in DevOps tools and solution, preferably covered with certification
  • Good understanding of Git version control system
  • Good understanding of monitoring solutions in cloud systems
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and manage documentation basing on existing incidents as well as technical trainings. 

What duties will help you grow?

  • Monitoring and supporting a high availability cloud-based production environment, collecting, aggregating, and triaging relevant metrics and logs provided by tools like PagerDuty
  • Reacting to alerts, events, and incidents and liaising with customer’s technical teams along with an internal apps team for a timely resolution of any incoming issues
  • Support building and evolving the runbooks, and architecture guidance documentation
  • Deployment of initial setup of a system / service in the data centers and regions as per customer presence / requirements
  • Support in managing the CI/CD pipelines
  • Managing security application working within multi-cloud environment
  • Identify and suggest tasks and workflows for automation to improve the efficiency and leading to faster and reliable deployments
  • Respond to escalated customer / LoB requests(P1 cases)and provide on call support in troubleshooting any issues
