Service Delivery Manager (Financial Services)

We are hiring for this job offer in Katowice and Gdansk. 

What will you do with us?

  • lead delivery of IT services for our international customers through complete life cycle (like transition, transformation, run),
  • take full responsibility for service delivery management on IT services in steady state,
  • engage in transition, transformation, and service management,
  • improve quality and profitability of services through continuous improvement, industrializations and optimizations not limited to test automation, and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD),
  • work closely with product managers and the delivery teams to establish priorities for competitive requirements, create realistic plans, properly identify risks, and plan risk response strategies,
  • review and define KPI, monitor SLA metrics to achieve required quality and excellent service performance,
  • take ownership and demonstrate proactive approach to ensure compliance, eliminate incidents,
  • develop relationship with executive and board level stakeholders
  • actively contribute to bid process to guarantee ambitious and sustainable growth
  • discover talented individuals, motivate, and empower people to assure continuous improvement,
  • build high performing, cross-functional teams as a leader and line manager,
  • lead recruitment to hire best talent and stay ahead of competitors,
  • negotiate with customers and our partners to ensure win-win collaboration and delivery excellence.

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • proven track record in professional Service Management across diverse IT environment,
  • practically confirmed knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle,
  • experience in usage of Agile: Kanban method and Scrum framework,
  • deep knowledge on IT processes and services (ITILv4 certification would be a plus),
  • 2+ years’ experience as Service Delivery Manager on international client IT services,
  • experience in formal sales, bid processes and vendor management would be an advantage,
  • strong drive to create positive work environment, and ability to build high performing teams (10+ FTEs),
  • result orientation personality and ease to motivate and empower teams and leaders,
  • good understanding of Finances, Banking domains with delivery experience would be a plus,
  • fluency in written and spoken English with strong intercultural awareness.
