What type of work do the consultants in BAG do?

To help you become the best you can be, and to ensure that you get an optimal start to your career in Invent, BAG gives you the opportunity to be exposed to research and projects within all of our service and sector divisions.

As a graduate, you become a member of our project teams and work with experienced consultants to deliver projects to our clients. You will be an important part of the team, with defined responsibilities, for example:

  • Analysis related to the projects problem statement
  • The execution of client meetings and –interviews
  • Facilitating workshops
  • Develop business case
  • Map processes
  • Write reports and present the results to the client

When you are not directly involved in projects you will be assigned tasks to help you develop your analytical skills. Examples of such tasks are:

  • Perform analysis of specific organizations and the challenges they are facing
  • Market-, industrial- and topic-specific analysis
  • Academic reports
  • Academic development within one of Capgemini Invent academic networks

Competence development

Through this wide variety of tasks, you will experience a steep learning curve, and BAG gives you a chance to challenge yourself in a safe environment. We will facilitate training to ensure that you develop skills needed to succeed as a management consultant.

As a consultant, you will visit Capgemini’s corporate university located at Château Les Fontaines near Paris. Here you will have the opportunity to develop basic  skills and build an international network with colleagues from around the world. The university also offers specialist and advanced courses in order for you to evolve throughout your career.

In addition to sessions at Les Fontaines, you will participate in several courses locally to learn more about topics such as Change Management, Excel, PowerPoint, Financial Analysis, Business Case etc.

During your time in BAG you will be closely supported by a mentor and participate in regular meetings with the rest of the BAG-members. This gives you an opportunity to share your experiences and learn from others’.

Career opportunities

The consultants in BAG get a unique opportunity to work across Capgemini Invent service and sector divisions. After approximately 1 year, BAG consultants are transferred to the capability area they want to specialize in. As employees in a global organization, BAG consultants have opportunities to take part in international projects. This represents an opportunity for learning and exchange of experience across national borders.

Social network

To be a part of BAG entails a connection to a special social environment consisting of young graduates. In addition to other social events arranged by Capgemini Invent, BAG organizes a number of different activities on their own, for example trips, dinners and other social activities. As a result, BAG creates a memorable and unique social environment.

The recruitment process

An application consists of a CV, a letter of interest/motivation and grades. Note that we only can accept complete applications registered online. When reviewing your application we are looking for top performing individuals with a Master’s degree (or above) with strong academic results. Grades, previous work experience, extracurricular engagements, language skills, international experience or sports achievements are all taken into account. We value team players with strong analytical skills, a result driven mindset with a focus on quality and willingness to constantly stay ahead!

Selected candidates will be invited to our offices and undergo interviews and case solving exercises together with our experienced consultants and recruiters. This gives the opportunity to become further acquainted with Capgemini Invent and the challenges facing consultants.
