Community Outreach: International BPO Teams Launch Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives

Capgemini’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams across the world are embracing social responsibility. In


, the BPO team officially launched its new corporate social responsibility program
this year and is pursuing corporate citizenship through a wide range of local
projects. Similarly, the new BPO center in

Sà£o Paulo

, has partnered with a local organization to support children and families in

BPO team members in


, launched an initiative called “A Day Like No Other” to sponsor holiday activities
for disadvantaged children. The team also hosts an annual sporting event in the
city’s main square and is donating 30 computers to the local high schools. These
projects aim to strengthen community spirit and help students develop skills for
the future.



, BPO employees demonstrated the Capgemini commitment to corporate social responsibility
during the annual Festa Julina cultural festival. The team collected food for
the PIVI institution, a local charity that provides shelter for over 200 homeless
children and teenagers and offers assistance to more than 50 local families.

These initiatives illustrate a common commitment to Capgemini’s guiding principles
of responsibility and sustainability. As we expand the scope of our community
involvement, our global teams will maintain a strong focus on supporting education,
diversity and international development.
