The awards, founded in 2004 by the CBI and Real Business magazine, recognize women who are pioneers in business, particularly those who
help remove barriers and open up opportunities for others to follow.

Christine came away with the top prize in the Finance category despite being
short-listed against some formidable contenders.

At the event, Christine’s work with Capgemini and her remarkable career to date
were commended. The judges decided to reward “a woman who, in a very modest but
extremely impressive way, is making herself an integral figure in a very demanding
organization,” noting that she is “the most senior woman in Capgemini UK and a
quietly effective force behind the consulting firm’s significant success in the
UK.”
