| News alert
The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) is the meeting place for the world’s business leaders and policy shapers to share and build a vision of a connected planet, and to discuss the role of Information Technology as an enabler for economic growth.

This type of dialogue has never been more important, and this year will see leaders from all major sectors—including the health, finance, utility and public sector—collaborating through this event to address their key challenges together. The event will seek to explore the role of ICT as the world’s economies recover and regain strength.

Facing the Challenges of Change

Capgemini is proud to be a Diamond Sponsor of this year’s event, and as part of this sponsorship will host the Capgemini Business Leaders’ Lunch to gather industry luminaries to debate the central theme of this year’s event—“Challenges of Change”—a concept that will resonate with all business leaders in the wake of recent economic turbulence.

Technology Transforming Business and Public Life

Capgemini’s Global Chief Technology Officer, Andy Mulholland, will participate in a keynote presentation entitled “The power of technology to change business and public life”. Henk Broeders, Chairman of ICT~Office, Member Executive Committee Cap Gemini S.A. and Board member FENIT (Federations of Dutch IT and communication companies), will make the welcome speech to open the congress. Other members of Capgemini’s global and Dutch executive teams will be speaking in the specialist discussion tracks.
