En M\u00e9xico, solo el 13.5% de las profesionistas han egresado de carreras STEM (Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda y Matem\u00e1ticas), seg\u00fan datos del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas. Esto significa que de cada siete mujeres que terminan la universidad, solo una ha optado por una carrera en estas \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de este panorama, empresas como Capgemini han implementado diversas estrategias para reducir la brecha de g\u00e9nero y fomentar una mayor participaci\u00f3n femenina en la tecnolog\u00eda. Carolina Rinc\u00f3n, gerente de Atracci\u00f3n de Talento en Capgemini M\u00e9xico, explica que estos esfuerzos van desde iniciativas educativas hasta cambios en los procesos de reclutamiento y liderazgo dentro de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Barreras persistentes en la industria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las mujeres en tecnolog\u00eda enfrentan m\u00faltiples obst\u00e1culos: sesgos de g\u00e9nero en la contrataci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n, escasez de modelos femeninos a seguir, ambientes laborales poco inclusivos y una brecha salarial significativa. M\u00e9xico ocupa la posici\u00f3n 119 de 146 econom\u00edas en el \u00cdndice Global de Brecha de G\u00e9nero 2024 del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial. Adem\u00e1s, una encuesta del IMCO revel\u00f3 que el 33% de las mujeres considera que su remuneraci\u00f3n es diferenciada por g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos desaf\u00edos tambi\u00e9n impactan diversas especialidades dentro del sector. Por ejemplo, si bien en Capgemini se ha observado un crecimiento en la presencia femenina en \u00e1reas como dise\u00f1o mec\u00e1nico, desarrollo de software y experiencia de usuario (UX\/UI), existen otros \u00e1mbitos como inteligencia artificial, ciencia de datos e ingenier\u00eda de hardware que siguen registrando una participaci\u00f3n reducida de mujeres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Estrategias para cambiar el panorama<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para enfrentar esta realidad, Capgemini ha apostado por diversas iniciativas que buscan generar inter\u00e9s en la tecnolog\u00eda desde edades tempranas. Ejemplo de ello es su colaboraci\u00f3n con el ITESM en programas como \u2019Patrones Hermosos\u2018, un campamento dirigido a ni\u00f1as de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, donde se les introduce al mundo de la ingenier\u00eda y la tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra de sus estrategias es la creaci\u00f3n de comunidades de mujeres ingenieras. Al respecto existe el programa <a>\u2019<\/a>Engineering Her Future Nights\u2019, que ya ha tenido presencia en Guadalajara y pr\u00f3ximamente se realizar\u00e1 en Aguascalientes y Ciudad de M\u00e9xico. Este evento busca fomentar la colaboraci\u00f3n, el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de talento femenino dentro del sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nivel corporativo, Capgemini ha adoptado estrategias como:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Capacitaciones sobre sesgos inconscientes para mejorar los procesos de reclutamiento y ascenso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establecimiento de metas de equidad de g\u00e9nero, con un objetivo del 40% de mujeres en sus equipos y un 30% en puestos de liderazgo ejecutivo para 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Redes internas de apoyo, como Women @ Capgemini y Women in Engineering, que fomentan la mentor\u00eda y el crecimiento profesional de las colaboradoras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>El futuro de las mujeres en STEM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El camino hacia la equidad de g\u00e9nero en la industria tecnol\u00f3gica a\u00fan es largo. De acuerdo con Carolina Rinc\u00f3n, se necesitan al menos cinco a\u00f1os para comenzar a ver un cambio significativo en las m\u00e9tricas de participaci\u00f3n femenina en carreras STEM, dado que el inter\u00e9s por estas disciplinas ha sido fomentado de manera m\u00e1s activa apenas en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA pesar de los retos, la tendencia global apunta a un futuro impulsado por la tecnolog\u00eda y la inteligencia artificial. Por ello, fomentar la participaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en estos sectores no solo es una cuesti\u00f3n de equidad, sino tambi\u00e9n una necesidad para el desarrollo de la innovaci\u00f3n\u201d, coment\u00f3 Rinc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capgemini ha sido reconocida por su compromiso con la inclusi\u00f3n y la diversidad, obteniendo certificaciones como <em>Great Place to Work<\/em>. Tambi\u00e9n, en 2024 recibi\u00f3 la insignia como uno de los <em>Mejores lugares para trabajar para mujeres<\/em>, otorgada por el mismo instituto, as\u00ed como la certificaci\u00f3n HRC Equidad M\u00e9xico, por quinto a\u00f1o
