What is the Enterprise Mobility Benchmark (EMB) Tool?The Enterprise Mobility Benchmark (EMB) tool supports Capgemini and Sogeti's proprietary methodology to assist large to medium organizations address their mobile strategy and optimize their mobile computing potential.
From a series of benchmarking questions the EMB tool evaluates clients' enterprise mobility status and helps determine what they need to do next. The EMB can benchmark clients against their industry, shows the areas that need work, gives a score that can be steadily improved and even begins the process of building a roadmap.
Every mobile strategy engagement Capgemini and Sogeti undertakes focuses on the same six critical areas: what to achieve, how to manage it, which technologies to use, what's in scope, what are the ground rules, and how to track progress. These areas are categorized under Policies; Objectives; Scope; Technology; Management; and Measurement. These critical dimensions represent a consistent thread that runs through the Enterprise Mobility Benchmark app.

Who Makes the Enterprise Mobility Benchmark (EMB) Tool Available to Me?The EMB tool is made available to you by Capgemini & Sogeti’s Global Service Line, Mobile Solutions. Capgemini and Sogeti announced the joint launch of the Mobile Solutions Global Service Line (GSL) in March 2012. The GSL provides a comprehensive end-to-end suite of services to support clients in creating and implementing an effective mobile strategy—from the development and implementation to the overall management of mobile applications. The EMB tool is one of the many tools and services provided as part of the Mobile Strategy service offering.
You can use the EMB tool on a variety of iOS compatible devices. Capgemini and Sogeti make no guarantees that all or any of the features will work on any particular device.
