[NEW PROJECT] Cobol Support Analyst – Global Insurance Client

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

•             Required Bilingual Skillset in Japanese and English.
•             Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mainframe.
•             Must have development experience in COBOL.
•             Must have development experience in COBOL.
•             Ability to utilize MVS and JES2 commands to display jobs, queues, lines, and interact with attached hardware/peripherals.
•             Experience in monitor and update dashboards with an understanding of service level agreements and critical issue.
•             Demonstrated experience with JCL and restarting failed batch jobs.

•             Working with stakeholders, including Customer Heldpesk, L3 Teams, to address customer issues effectively.
•             Working cross-functionally to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
•             Experience in triaging and analyzing issues, especially with logs analysis.
•             Provide work arounds were feasible.
•             Updating tickets in a timely manner.
•             Providing regular reports to the management on product performance and customer issues.
•             Prior experience in L2/L3 support “Need Bilingual skills.
