IWFM (ImageWARE Form Manager) Engineer / 開発エンジニア(IWFM, ImageWARE Form Manager)

Key Responsibilities:      

  • Work closely with Project/Tech lead to understand requirement and perform ambiguity review. Discuss requirement defects with leads/BA and resolves the defects
  • Creates code as per requirements, performs self and peer to peer code reviews and defect fixing thereof
  • Prepares unit tests, executes self-test scenarios, test cases for  the assigned module or requirements
  • Participate in peer reviews of code, unit tests and associated project documents
  • Analyze failure and updates to the Defect Management tool. Ensure timely closure of defects
  • Review and clarify issues reported in defect Logs as needed
  • Work with the other development team and Environment team to resolve any dependencies as needed
  • Time escalation for any unresolved issue /risks
  • Ensure Continuous improvement through automation/ Innovative Ideas/ Reuse etc.

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years of IT experience in SDLC and various development methodologies
  • Good Technical Skills in Core Java, J2EE technology
  • Must have worked with Canon IWFM (ImageWARE Form Manager)
  • Must have good knowledge of database and reports
  • Should be able to create Low Level Design documents, Class Diagrams, etc.
  • Work in client facing role and participate in technical discussions


Educational Qualification: 
Any Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in Computer Science/Computer Applications

Languages: 
Proficient in Japanese and English will be required, at least Business level both in writing and speaking
