Business System Analyst for Life Insurance Client

関係部門や第三機関と連携し、ビジネスプロセスとIT要件をまとめる重要な役割です。ビジネスアナリストとしての業務知識だけではなく、テクノロジーへの深い知見が求められます。

職務内容
生保系クライアント向けプロジェクトにおけるビジネスシステムアナリストとして、下記業務にご対応いただきます。

・ビジネスユーザー(クライアント)と開発チームの間に立ち、プロジェクトスコープの策定含む、開発プロセス全体の要件定義を行い、ステークホルダーとの利害を調整する
・ビジネスユーザーとの会話を通じて業務分析を行い、見積もりの作成や工数管理を行う
・既存システムや業務フローの手順書などをレビューし、新たなシステム化要件の特定および既存手順との整合性を図り、文書化する
IIBAUML、データフローモデリング、ワークフロー分析、機能分解分析などを用いて、ビジネス要件を分析し、文書化する
・プロジェクト成果物に対して、IT標準・ドキュメント標準を適用し、管理する
・品質保証チームと連携し、成果物が標準化され、かつ要求水準を満たす品質基準であることを検証する
・システムの受け入れ基準を定義し、各チーム(ビジネスユーザー・開発者・テストチーム・品質保証チームなど)と連携し、確実な納品を行う

求める職務経験・スキル
・ビジネスアナリストまたはシステムアナリストとして6年程度以上の経験をお持ちの方(生命保険分野の方尚可)
・複雑な問題(ビジネス、データ、ワークフロー、技術)を分析して意思決定を支援する能力をお持ちの方
・システム開発プロセス全体を経験・理解しており、アジャイルとユースケースの技法を用いることができる方
・コミュニケーションに長け、関係者との良好な関係構築、会議等ビジネスコミュニケーションの円滑な進行、および利害調整ができる方
・問題解決能力が高く、全体最適を図りながらも、細部にまで目が利き、マルチタスクで進行できる方
・その他、関連する資格をお持ちの方歓迎(IIBA CBALOMABABOKITストラテジストなど)
・日本語、英語双方での業務遂行が可能な方(ビジネスレベル以上)

Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Business System Analyst who will be the vital link between our client’s business objectives/demands and IT technologies by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks. The Business System Analyst works with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and IT requirements for technology initiatives. 

 

  • Collaborate with business and IT to define and manage project scope. Manage requirements throughout the SDLC. Collaborate with Project Manager to manage business partner expectations
  • Plan business analysis activities, including task level of effort estimates and able to meet those estimates
  • Determine proper elicitation technique to ensure requirements are appropriately and efficiently identified and documented including existing systems documentation or procedures
  • Analyze and document business requirements for business requests while using IIBA or industry standard analysis techniques such as UML or data flow modeling, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis and business rule definition.
  • Understand and apply IT standards, designs and documentation standards into the recommended project artifacts.
  • Collaborate with technical resources to provide input to the solution design.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that the designed solutions satisfy the business requirements.
  • Work with business partners and QA team to help define acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA team as needed during user acceptance testing to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements
  • Collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive business solutions are implemented

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • More than 6 years of experience in managing business requirements, preferably in the Life insurance domain
  • Experience of writing requirements on a large scale web-based project, or a smartphone-based project (5 years+)
  • Financial industry Insurance knowledge / experience especially in Bank Channel domain. Ideally having written requirements on such a project (5 years+)
  • Experience of a global project, which involved multiple countries and time zones (at least 1 project).
  • IIBA CBAP or similar certification program helpful.
  • LOMA or any other Life insurance certification desirable
  • Must be detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Must be flexible and effective at multi-tasking
  • Able to establish positive relationships with IT staff, business partners and other key stakeholders
  • Strong ability to perform analysis of complex business, data, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making.
  • Must possess good meeting facilitation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be pro-active with issue identification and resolution
  • Demonstrated problem solving aptitude
  • Must be experienced with the entire systems development life cycle, experience with Agile and Use Case methodologies would be helpful
  • Team player with experience working in multi-location cross disciplinary teams
  • Experience in tools like MS Office, Visio, MPP and Access desirable  

Language Proficiency:
Proficient in Japanese and English will be required, at least Business level both in writing and speaking
