Job Description:

Primary Skills (Must have)

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in, Computer Science/ IT / Electronics / Engineering / Physics.
  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing
  • Experience in Multifonds application is mandatory
  • Experience in handling testing of ‘fund accounting’ applications or ‘multi accounting’ applications is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
 
 Reporting to the Capgemini project manager & providing input for all the relevant project management processes (progress update, % completion etc).
 Developing a good understanding of the Business and System(s) under test
 Fully understand the project requirements and quickly provide effort estimates
 Design and document test cases / scripts based on the functional specifications
 Document test procedures, test steps and expected results to ensure maximum test coverage
 Adhere to the project testing schedules, and flag immediately if there is a risk of slippage
 Setup and execute test plan and test cases independently or via designated test management tool
 Record test results and prepare test summary reports
 Report and track defects in the issue tracking system
 Prepare & distribute daily/weekly status reports
