 Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities: 

As a test manager, the associate will closely work with business team, development, release management, chapter leads and other tribe level stakeholders. The test manager will be preparing the test plan, schedule, align to release calendars, plan the test execution for the testers in the squads and align to the sprint plans. He/she will also be responsible for improving the testing maturity within the tribe through innovation on automation, improvement  in process and adding the right fits into squads.

  • Participation in Program Increment Planning, Sprint planning, Daily Scrum and Retrospective meetings.
  • Primarily responsible for liaising with the client team including Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, and developers working on multiple time zones to define the test scope.
  • Main technical tasks include – Designing test scenarios, writing test cases using advanced SQL querying with complex mapping logics, preparation of Phase Test Plan (PTP), daily and weekly test status reports & Phase Test Summary Report (PTSR).
  • Execution of manual & automation test cases
  • Coordination and follow-up on the bugs and tracking them diligently until fixes and close them on time.
  • Performing System, Functional and Regression testing in QA environment.
  • Involved in testing migration data in source and target systems.
  • Responsible for testing in-flight scenarios for migration data.
  • Preparing and publishing test dashboards in JIRA.
  • Coordinate and communicate with onshore and offshore team members to discuss, highlight and clarify software design documents
  • Client interaction and cross-functional team interaction.
  • Mentor new joiners in the team and train them in application modules

Let’s talk about your qualifications and experience:  

  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good knowledge in Agile and DevOps process
  • Good knowledge like HP ALM, Jira etc
  • Good knowledge in requirement study/ambiguity review
  • Good experience in customer management, interactions with business and development team
  • Good experience in data identification and mock-up as required

Skills Attributes:

  • Hand-on QA / Software Testing
  • Datawarehousing ETL and BI background
  • Strong with SQL
  • Knowledge on Unix
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
