Includes: creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and data integrity of the data that is provided to the internal customer.• May analyze and make recommends on business, technology, and process improvement opportunities.• Partners with various business lines to perform data analysis procedures as applicable to the support of ongoing• Projects and document data findings/commentary.• Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries• Plans, conducts, and supervises small, short-term projects.• Provides technical assistance to Division.• Communication Skills: Data analysts are often called to present their findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas with business lines and manage expectations around data quality.• Administrative/Technical Skills/ Other Information• Experience in building relational data structures, including relationships between tables and grouping data.• Technical skills to manipulate and analyze data in a variety of formats (e.g. informatica, SQL, Access, Oracle, Macros, Excel)• Experienced in working with Macros either in Excel or Macro Express.• Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.• The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.• Executes test, data extraction, and analysis utilizing the department’s various computer software packages within established deadlines• A forward thinker, always thinking of solutions outside the box.• Provides recommendations to streamline tasks and create a more efficient working environment.• Up to date with the latest technological advances.• The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
