Capgemini Financial Services (FS) provides information technology and consultancy services to the Banking, Capital Markets, Superannuation and Insurance industries. Our customers count on us for the very latest in innovative service offerings & next generation global delivery. We are currently looking for a Functional Lead to join our FS practice and partner with one of our insurance clients. 

Let’s talk about the role:

  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on process improvements and efficiencies that can be realised through the implementation of recommended solutions.
  • Work closely with client SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including configuration, demonstrations, design workshops, documentation, testing, report development, training, data migration, knowledge transfer, UAT support, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
  • You will also occasionally be required to provide support to pre-sales activities including technical design and migration process, performing requirements fit / gap analysis, providing system demonstrations and advising on resourcing requirements for planning and estimating purposes.
  • Design, develop and support solutions leveraging Duck Creek.
  • Ensure solution feasibility and mitigate risk by leveraging relevant subject matter experts.
  • Define Integration Strategies and frameworks like security, governance, reporting for the proposed technical solutions.
  • Develop proofs of concept to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
  • Propose customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solution.
  • Develop GTM strategy for existing and new customers.
  • Work on client-billable and pre-sales assignments to lead the solution development.
  • Work with sales and delivery teams to ensure solutions are able to be delivered and profitable.

Let’s talk about your capability and experience:  

  • Prior experience managing/delivering large to mid sized projects
  • Knowledge on Duck Creek 6.x or 7.x platform and Duck Creek Author, Express, Server, Forms. 
  • Capable of leading compelling solution development with clients on their integration strategies for cloud, hybrid and on premise solution.
  • Able to do technical design/architecture for Duckcreek based solutions.
  • Working knowledge of P&C insurance.
  • Agile project experience.
