DATA VISUALIZATION BI DEVELOPER – TABLEAU

 

  • Provide data reporting functions to the business and technical community using Tableau and SQL querying
  • Liaise with business and technology partners to build insightful analytical solutions and translate
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies resolve and articulate them Identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved through enhanced automation implement those enhancements
  • Develop scalable and maintainable BI applications to meet business objectives
  • Develop security and authentication standards for the organization
  • Maintain accurate and complete technical architectural documents
  • Support BI tools upgrades in development testing and documentation
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for BI tools
  • Diagnose and resolve BI tool capacity issues
  • Address customer queries and issues in a timely manner
  • Provide technical training on BI tools to junior staffs
  • Collaborate with BI Administrators Developers and Analysts for successful development of BI reporting and analysis solutions

Required Skills

  • Bachelor s degree with a concentration in MIS Computer Science Engineering
  • 5 years of experience working as Tableau expert with a strong ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau SQL
  • Ability to extract information from multiple databases using complex query statements and advanced database tools
  • Minimum five years delivering complex data management engagements including all phases of the project life cycle from scoping and planning requirements gathering design development testing and go live phases
  • Work in an onsite offshore model involving daily interactions with offshore teams to ensure on time quality deliverables
  • Experience with organizing analyzing and disseminating medium to large amount of information with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse principles and basic understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies

 

Preferred Skills

  • Tableau Desktop Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of working with structured and semi structured data xml json
  • Possess strong documentation and communication skills
