The focus of your role:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join Capgemini Invent’s Supply Chain team in Australia. Experience in track and trace/end to end product traceability gained within the transport and logistics industry. We are looking for a leader who can bring strategic advisory capabilities in track and trace to our Intelligent Industry supply chain team, and who can bring business led expertise to our clients to support their innovation and transformation agendas within their supply chain operations.
This role will form part of the team responsible for driving the development of Invent’s Intelligent Industry capability in Australia. Through this capability Capgemini Invent brings “What’s Next” to its clients’ future planning, strategy and roadmaps, helping our clients reenvisage their supply chains, their asset operations and enablement of intelligent, connected and dynamic operations. As one of the three global capability areas that make up Capgemini Invent’s global strategy, Intelligent Industry aims to reinvent the future of industry by bringing together the physical and digital worlds: helping companies to invent intelligent products, operations and services at scale. In Australia our supply chain capabilities are a critical area for growth within this team.
You will bring experience gained working within the transport and logistics industry. You will have practical experience of the business and digital transformation relating to track and trace. You will have the ability to make the connection between the business, systems and data lens, knowledge of the role that digital capabilities must play, and where the critical focus areas are. You will have the credibility that comes from the learnings drawn from undertaking those implementations in a physical supply chain context yourself, as well as understanding the system and integration complexities. You will be able to take a client on a journey to transform their supply chain because you have done it yourself or you have provided the advisory before. You will shape, sell and deliver digital transformation and innovation programs across our clients’ physical operations and digital capabilities, and bringing them the latest leading ideas and inventions.
The role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
What you’ll do:
- Design and deliver digital strategies and transformation programs within supply chain and associated processes for key clients. We are interested in a specific focus on track and trace.
- Understand and be able to articulate a future view of the digitally transformed supply chain
- Support new business development opportunities
- Inspire, and collaborate with your team members
- Bring Capgemini’s and your own expertise to bear with clients.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience, confidence, and maturity in working with client leadership
- Demonstrated experience advising transport and logistics organisations in Australia
- Experience in strategy and execution within major complex transformation programs enabled by tech/data, preferably relating to business and technology considerations.
- Must have a track record of strong client relationships across multiple assignments
- Experience within the transport and logistics industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage diverse multi-capability teams within the IT and digital realm
