Job Description:

1 Must have 8 years experience working and specializing in Splunk 
2 Expert level hands on in developing Dashboards using queries in Splunk Support Maintenance experience not preferred 
3 Hands on experience integrating customized UI including integration with third party library in Splunk Application 
4 Responsible for overall application architecture 
5 Reviews and provides input into team s work products and deliverables 
6 Assists with development of requirements and design specifications 
7 Collaborate with different LOB architects to understand the key usage of 3rd party tools viz Netcool Remedy etc 
8 Collaborate with EMS group for availability of SPLUNK environment and access 
9 Lead the design and development of monitoring solutions via the integration of various toolsets into Splunk 
10 Create integration strategy and algorithms to ingest data into SPLUNK 
11 Create and effectively machine data driven and market informed log monitoring vision and strategy 
12 Understand business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design performance and monitoring best practices 
13 Prepare Test Strategy 
14 Prepare detailed Test Cases Scenarios 
15 Lead the Testing team in preparation and execution of Test Cases 
16 Test end to end data flow as per test plan 
17 Test dashboard and visualization as per Test Plan 
18 Open defects for failed test cases 
19 Retest fixed defects 
20 Brings in SPLUNK Project management best practices 
21 Assists in preparing for and documenting workshops and interviews with the Operational Team and IT 
22 Owns all the deliverables expected from Capgemini 
23 Bring in industry best practices around IT Operational Monitoring ITOA activities and help define the to be state of ITOAQuick Learner and work independently 
24 Good communication Skill Written and Verbal
