Who are we looking for?


The person, who will apply for this position needs to be very good at communication with others and have a great will for work. We are looking for people, who are kind and ready for delivering help to others. Assertiveness and self- confidence is a must. As Solaris Lead Technician you will need to be able to work under time pressure and be ready for multitasking. You should be motivated, have a “can do” attitude and be willing to keep on developing your skills (no routine).


• Must have a rich Solaris experience and understanding
• Perfect understanding of networking and storage concepts used in terms of Solaris administration
• Good troubleshooting skills (especially performance analysis)
• Knowledge about clusters solutions
• Knowledge about LDAP
• Experience with supporting hardware (blades& rack servers)
• Ability to work in the international team

Nice to have:

• Experience in leading a technical team
• Knowledge about docker and containers solutions
• Knowledge about Cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with scripting would be appreciated (Bash, Python, Perl)
• Good interpersonal skills


What will you do?
Currently, we are looking for a Solaris Lead Technician with knowledge of Solaris technology who wants to join our new team for one of the biggest companies from the energetic sector.
Main accountabilities:

• Participate in platform meetings with Customer and Capgemini experts
• Provide guidance to operations team in regards to Solaris administration related aspects
• Be accountable for performance analysis and problems remediation
• Take care of security compliance
• Automate manual tasks to decrease level of human interaction
• Cooperate with other teams including external suppliers
• Develop and maintain existing and new documentation
