Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce DevOps
Location: Burbank, CA (Remote)

Job Responsibilities:
•    Work closely with developers, engineers and the Salesforce Scrum Masters to ensure that the delivery team is carefully planning, testing, and releasing software in a manner which supports test automation, deployment automation and a regular deployment cadence
•    Lead advocate and enforce solid CI CD best practices within our Salesforce environment
•    Technical oversight of the automated CI tool, Jenkins, used by our development engineering team
•    Manage all Salesforce environments, plan environment refreshes, and manage all Salesforce access
•    Regularly maintain or update pipeline scripts to suit the program needs
•    Regularly maintain GIT to delete any old branches
•    Prepare and set up best practices for deployments using release management tools
•    Define and implement standardized deployment schedules that deliver hotfixes minor, medium, and major releases using GitHub, Jenkins, ANT, and salesforce methods
•    Sandbox management and Data Setup
•    Proactively automate repeated tasks and reduce manual intervention
•    8 years of experience in any of the following areas:
        o    Salesforce Development
        o    release management
        o    software development
        o    DevOps
•    3 years’ experience administering or managing deployments on the Salesforce platform Enterprise edition or higher
•    2 years with continuous integration and deployment tools
•    GitHub, Jenkins. Salesforce DevOps knowledge
•    Strong deployment experience using Force.com migration tools
•    Solid working knowledge of source control management systems i.e. GitHub and effective code branching merging strategies
•    Knowledge of SFDC configuration including the use of third party tools
•    Hands on experience with Cloud bees, Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines
•    Solid understanding of tools and best practices for CI/CD
•    Experience deploying custom code and configurations across a Salesforce platform, ecosystem production, and sandboxes
•    Deep knowledge of the Salesforce Meta Data, API, and Salesforce release management techniques
•    Experience working the Jenkins
•    DevOps Platform is a major plus
•    Salesforce Admin Certification or other Salesforce Certifications is a plus
•    Agile experience certification is preferred
•    SAFE Agile
