Specification, Skills, Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have extensive social media experience.
This means the person is actively participating in a wide variety of social media activities including content creation ones such as blogging, micro-blogging and community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and is well-connected with the broader social media world. Work closely with the Group, Experts panel and the Expert Connect program Lead to execute strategies to drive conversations across relevant channels and platforms thereby building the program
Interaction with the experts, On-board new Experts into the program, Ensure all expert social profiles are properly claimed, optimized, promoted and managed, Partner educates the Experts panel on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate GTM culture, experts to manage and engage in healthy social media practices, Hold monthly 1:1 feedback with each of them and annual all-hands with the group, to track best practices, frequently asked questions, discuss activity metrics, and potential business opportunities,
Provide a first-level support for any question that the Expert might have in the completion of their duties, Be the first-level Editorial support for Expert created content, Create strategy and craft channel-appropriate social media messages for the various GTM campaigns
Interaction with the Social Media Lead Partner and reporting, Measure and report the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts (Publish daily, weekly, monthly dashboards and reports), Escalate 2nd level questions if necessary with the Program Lead, Update if necessary the knowledge base: frequently asked questions
Interaction with stakeholders such as PR and Marketing, Work with the PR and Marketing teams at Group and country levels to get content and identify channels, websites, platforms that the experts can then use in their specific field.
The role’s success will be measured through KPIs on:
Individual performance of the Partner
Partner’s team performance with the experts
Overall performance of the Expert Connect program
Increase of the expert’s reach
Making sure that the expert has a certain level of published items per year
Enabling the expert to grow his network online
The Social Media Partner’s success will be closely linked to the success of the experts.
Primary Skills (Must have)
3 – 5 years social media marketing experience with a Tier 1 IT Services organization, where social media should have been a core role. Or experience in social media in other industries like media, agencies or Fortune 500 companies (in which case technology should be an interest area or a passion).
Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media (you will be asked to share the links to your own accounts)
Ability to understand and create impeccable content in English. Beginning with Social Media messages, we are also looking for passionate creators who can also craft blog, website copy.
