Main purpose of your role

You will work with our UK team in our innovation exchange in the heart of the city of London.

At the AIE, you’ll be part of a small team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs. 

You will have a passion for innovation and emerging technology and embrace working with new ideas and methods. You will be comfortable working in an ambitious, start-up style culture where you will play a part in our future strategy and growth and contribute to the development of the team through a number of internal projects.

You will work alongside clients, account execs, innovation consultants, developers and product owners to ideate, experiment, and build rapid proof of concepts and innovations for a range of clients leveraging the latest emerging technology.

Your primary role will be to work with the business in bringing services and products to life. As a user centered design advocate, you will deliver value for our clients and the business and have a strong portfolio and track record to remonstrate this. Not only do you understand the value of design, but you are also able to communicate this in engaging ways to clients and internal stakeholders.

You get excited solving design business and technology challenges through design and by working hand in hand with developed to deliver pixel perfect products.


What you’ll do

•Gather customer and end-user requirements and create overall UX concept and strategy
•Design the interaction model for the mobile/web/embedded solution
•Create clickable prototypes
•Conduct co-creation sessions with end-users and clients and usability testing sessions
•Conduct workshops & brainstorming sessions with internal design team members or with clients to define visual design direction
•Present designs to client and elaborate on design decisions made
•Ability to generate internal or external videos e.g. client testimonials 
•Conduct user research and interviews, create user journeys and personas to gather customer insights

Your Skills and Experience

•Excellent presentation skills with the ability to talk and understand stakeholders
•Solid understanding of common front-end and back-end platforms
•Passion for UX design and eagerness to mentor and elevate with other creative people
•Strong understanding of usability and user centered design practices
•Passion for emerging technologies and hunger to innovate
•Proficiency of creating visual designs with appropriate software toolbox
•Proven attention to detail
