Senior Manager – Cloud Strategy Lead

The focus of your role:

We’re looking for a Senior Manager who will act as our Cloud Architect/Cloud Advisory Lead. You’ll help clients develop cloud strategies, create migration plans and provide business and technical leadership to support a client’s journey to cloud.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Working across complex businesses on large scale cloud transformations and ensure alignment to enterprise and cloud strategies
  • Providing leadership, designing solutions, ensuring quality outcomes and overseeing the development and execution of projects across a client’s portfolio
  • Partnering with clients to create cloud strategies
  • Creating roadmaps, plans and cases for change with clients
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs, often acting as an evangelist, mediator or thought leader
  • Leading the technical design process coordinating the various stakeholders towards an agreed solution
  • Providing support to program manager and accounts through developing estimates, and dependencies to meet program outcomes
  • Owning relationships with senior stakeholders, including CIO
  • Working with Account Executives to identify and develop opportunities
  • Working with other Capgemini, Vendor and Account experts at a global and local level

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years experience working as an IT / Cloud Consultant, ideally in technology consulting
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering large and complex engagements
  • Hands on experience working with AWS
  • Exposure to GCP
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering large and complex engagements
  • Ability to articulate complex technical matters to non-technical individuals
  • Experience working with CxO and senior stakeholders to define IT Strategies
  • Knowledge of contemporary IT delivery practices – Agile, DevOps, clouds
  • Experience in leading delivery and technology teams in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Extensive experience in developing client roadmaps
  • Strong skills in negotiation, commercial awareness and solution proposition

Desirable

  • Previous experience in financial services sector
