Senior Instructional Designer:
The Instructional Designer will be a member of the Learning Lifecycle Management (LLM) team. As an Instructional Designer, his, her core role will encompass the following key tasks:
Understand client requirements and propose learning solutions to meet the requirements
Create course outlines and design documents based on client requirements
Analyze current state environment, including analysis of performance gaps and job, task, needs analysis.
Facilitate requirements gathering workshop and conduct interviews to confirm performance needs and translate those needs into concrete options for learning interventions.
Facilitate design session with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, graphic designers, and media programmers
Create project documentation including design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, train-the-trainer, pilot materials, and working prototypes.
Demonstrate expertise in developing a range of instructional materials including classroom-based training, e-learning, job aids, references guides, scenario case studies, on-the-job training, train-the-trainer course material, assessments, and evaluations.
Demonstrate effective course development and evaluation skills. Should be able to independently develop entry and advanced level technical and non-technical courses for both internal and external clients.
Review deliverables developed by team members.
Be responsible for project deliverables.
Develop, mentor, and coach junior instructional designers.
Evaluate sales opportunities and create proposals detailing effort and cost estimates.
Create and manage project plans
Manage projects from end to end and coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and internal team
Demonstrate expertise in leading and managing both internal and external clients.
Handle client communication and reporting.
Exhibit strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
Contribute to team “Business As Usual” activities such as hiring, process improvement, service standardization, etc.
