Responsibilities
Provide best in class pursuit management support to the sales community 
Play a key role in winning pursuits for SBU 
Participate in end to end bid management of medium or large deals 
Identify value drivers fitting with client and opportunity situation develop value messaging and positioning based on joint value creation and develop a proposition plan mapping value drivers targeted units phasing resources including use of partners
Participate in shaping deals orchestrating winning sales plans envisioning pursuit storyboards participation in due diligence exercise managing customer visits 
Ensure that the win rate is maximized through the appropriate and timely engagement of sales commercial and subject matter experts in the bid process
Set up bid process including budget staffing and administration
Monitor and evaluate risks and report bid status to management
Ensure overall consistency of the bid strategy
Ensure quality of the proposition both written and presented at orals
Master project management meetings and anchor negotiations
Ensure the consistent application of the Capgemini Bidding Guidelines to all the assigned pursuits 
Manage stakeholder relationships across Sales Marketing and Delivery organizations throughout the bid cycle 
Identify the right profiles for the bid team Solution Architect Risk Manager Commercial Manager Industry Specialist Sales Operations and demonstrate leadership
Work with the business development solution development team to understand requirement and formulate proposal accordingly as per client requirements 
Play an active role in proposal solution development by challenging the solution bring in thought leadership in solution development
Address complex issues involving interactions up to executive level 
Act as an ambassador to drive increased offshore participation in the sales process drive proactive pipeline analytics
Demonstrate thought leadership by contributing to fine tuning the pre sales process

SKILLS AND EXP

The candidate should have previously worked with Tier I IT services organizations with a minimum total work experience of 15 years out of which at least 8 to 10 years are in Bid Management and Pre sales
Demonstrable experience of working on large and complex bids as a Bid Manager or equivalent Solution Owner Commercial Owner Sales Lead or Response Owner
Business development experience within a complex solution environment requiring interaction with senior management the executive board
Strong organizational facilitation and project management skills
Experience capability in client interfacing roles
Highly credible with the ability to influence both internally with colleagues and externally with clients 
Determined and enthusiastic in bringing pursuits to a successful closure
