 Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities: 

  • Tech Architect with sound banking and finance experience
  • Understand the enterprise systems environment and the architecture, data model, and platform integration options for all major applications
  • Collaborate with other technologists on the design of integration points with other applications using the variety of technologies
  • Define the detailed requirements and specifications for new features and integrations based upon high-level business requirements
  • Monitor and maintain the ongoing effective operation of these features & integrations
  • Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the project
  • Create detailed functional/technical architecture documentation
  • Synergize with the team forum to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
  • Lead and support consultants/developers and coordinate resources across concurrent project work in line with priorities and project timelines
  • Estimate workload, dependencies and prioritize user stories for development across the team of developers
  • Advise on testing approach

 Let’s talk about your qualifications and experience:  

  • 10+ years of advanced, hands-on architecture, development & integration experience as Tech Architect
  • Proficiency and experience with the most common integration patterns. Must have experience working with integration features
  • Knowledge of data integration and transformation tools
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Scaled Agile environment and solid foundation in software development practices
  • Experience delivering and supporting business applications in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and be self-accountable to deliver a high level of performance
  • Basic network and infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience in working with relational databases
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating and designing alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
  • Good documentation and articulation skills
  • Ability to work with a remote team, requiring ability to communicate well via phone and email (excellent writing skills)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent client interfacing skills and communication ability
