Security Chapter Lead


  1. The Security Chapter Lead is a full-time Security expert in Cyber Security Romania.
  2. The Security Chapter Lead is the Security SPOC for the tribe.
  3. Security Chapter Leads will coach the Product Owner (and in some cases the Scrum Master) and all squad members on the importance of Security requirements.
  4. The Security Chapter Lead will support product and service development with Secure by Design expertise as the primary role.
  5. The Security Chapter Lead will lead Security Champions across the squads and is the Security SPOC for the Security Champions.
  6. The Security Chapter Lead will alert to Security incidents that the Security Champions bring to their attention and follow Standards for reporting.
  7. The Security Chapter Lead will report on risk and compliance levels for relevant product and services in their tribe.
  8. The Security Chapter Lead will define Secure by Design blueprints, patterns and design principles to support product and service development.
  9. The Security Chapter Lead will give squads recommendations on mitigation strategies for vulnerabilities or weaknesses in products or services.
  10. Security Chapter Leads will contribute to Security user stories.


  • IT Security background and IT architecture experience;
  • Broad security knowledge and practical experience of designing risk-oriented security solutions with a strong focus on Cloud based deployments (AWS, GCP);
  • A diverse security background with knowledge in several areas including: layered security architecture; internet protocols; API, mobile and web applications security; VPN, firewalls; WAF, IDPS; risk and vulnerability assessments, and compliance;
  • Proven experience managing and operating multiple security programs, projects, and initiatives;
  • An ability to think strategically and drive change;
  • Strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial drive with a history of developing high-performing teams;
  • Ability to build and manage highly motivated team;
  • Ability to work under time and resource pressure;
  • An ability and desire to communicate and work with a broad set of stakeholders;
  • A customer-focused, responsive, and transparent attitude;
  • Security certifications (e.g.: CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.);
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
